Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our CNS team. We require a dynamic, motivated and dedicated nurse to work alongside us, the malignant Haematology Specialist Nursing team at Eccleshill Community Hospital. We are focused on delivering the best possible personalised care to patients with a range of malignant Haematological conditions.
We have a passionate multidisciplinary team who work closely with the tertiary centre. The Nursing service undertake nurse led clinics and are committed to advancing their clinical skills and decision-making capabilities and opportunities for further education and training will be offered and encouraged.
Our service supports patients diagnosed with or suspected of having a haematological cancer. We provide comprehensive nursing support and expert advice to patients, families and carers throughout their pathway from diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and end of life care in collaboration with specialist teams and services including community / specialist palliative care services as required. Mainly in outpatient setting but also attending inpatients during their stay.
If you are also committed to providing high quality care and already have a keen interest in haematology with excellent communication skills and the knowledge / skills to support patients along their pathway and able to work autonomously.
