WHO YOU ARE:

  • As a Managed Services Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, development, and growth of our managed services offerings.
  • You will be responsible for understanding market demands, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and customer-centric mindset to ensure the success of our managed services portfolio.
  • As the Managed Services Product Manager for Vodafone Business, you will be responsible for managing existing and developing new Managed Services Products for our SMB and Enterprise customers.
  • Vodafone Business has a number of existing Managed Services offered as stand-alone Products or as components of other Products. Examples include our Software Defined WAN products which include Tiered Managed Services as part of the Product and our Microsoft Managed Services which are sold as complementary services to our Microsoft 365 licenses.
  • Vodafone Business has ambitious growth plans and Managed Services will play a critical role in achieving these plans.
  • The Managed Services Product Manager will build out several new Managed Services to address our SMB and Enterprise Customer Segments.
  • They will work closely with our Group Product, Strategic Partners, Engineering, Care, Customer Success, Sales and Commercial teams to build out these services both as standalone products and as additions to existing products.
  • Vodafone Ireland has significant 24/7, Care and Engineering teams and today we provide bespoke managed services for some of the largest companies in Ireland.
  • This role will standardize these services in areas such as Managed Network Services, Professional Services, and In-life management models.
  • Managed Services will be applied in Product areas such as SD Networking, Security and Connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi, SaaS, Unified Comms and Mobility.
  • The role in our Product Management team is Growth focused and the successful candidate needs excellent presentation, persuasion, and development skills, as well as the ability to position Vodafone and our go-to-market strategy to C-Level executives.
  • You will work in a team of experienced Product Managers.
  • The role will jointly create business plans with our Sales and Go to Market teams and use the Vodafone Product Development Processes to launch these into the market.
  • Managed Services is one of our highest growth areas and very strategic for our business as we develop our service propositions.
  • We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to drive this Portfolio.
  • You will have ample opportunity to influence how the Managed Services Portfolio is developed and to influence and guide senior leadership in Vodafone Business on your Managed Services Product Strategy.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years Managed Services Product Management Experience ideally in the IT or Telecoms Industries.
  • Proven experience with Managed Services Products working with Sales, Product Development, Care and IT Teams
  • Project Management Skills
  • Knowledge of Tools and Applications such as Service Now
  • Professional, proven & senior competence in:
  • building relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, IT, Care, Partners, Build and Commercial
  • being the key connection between Group Product and the local Market
  • creating business and go-to-market plans with and ensuring that they are executed.
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and autonomously in a newly launched go-to-market setting.
  • Comfortable working in an organization based on trust and openness – being empowered to speak up and every day try to improve how we work and how we put customers first.
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
