This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ITOC Delivery Architect is a key member of the high-level technical team, serving as an Architect focused on guiding and overseeing technical aspects during solution, transition and delivery phases. This role involves providing Managed Service delivery expertise to ensure a correct solution leading to a smooth transition of systems and processes, aligning with architecture principles.

KEY DELIVERABLES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Well-defined and aligned solutions and delivery strategies based on business requirements.
  • Clear identification and mitigation of possible technical challenges in both transition and delivery.
  • Support architectural designs for solutions considering scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Consistent implementation of transitional and delivery solutions across project teams.
  • Technical reviews and assessments ensuring compliance with architecture principles.
  • Guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of solutions.
  • Updated enterprise architecture documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s / University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Enterprise Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and transitional methodologies.
  • Relevant industry qualification where applicable.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong technical expertise in system architecture and design.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality documentation.
  • Broad experience in the managed services business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in language to be supported.
  • Lead or provide expertise to cross-functional teams or projects
  • Exceptional depth of knowledge on one or more highly complex solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical constraints during solution, transitional and delivery phases.
  • Provide high-level technical, ITSM and Managed Services expertise in the development of the solution, transition and delivery strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Analyse existing systems and processes, identifying technical requirements and potential challenges during both transition and delivery.
  • Support the Design and architect solutions, considering scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure the implementation of the solutions aligns with the overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with (Enterprise) Architects and other technical teams to ensure consistency and alignment with enterprise-wide standards.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with architecture principles and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of architecture documentation.
