The University Hospital of North Midlands, Mid Cheshire and East Cheshire NHS Trusts are working collaboratively to form a Pathology network (NMCPS) in line with a NHSI directive.
We are seeking applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our anticoagulation service as an Anticoagulation Management Clerical Assistant . The Haematology based anticoagulation service manages the oral anticoagulation treatment of over 7500 patients, many of whom require warfarin monitoring. Clinics are held predominantly in the community at approximately 25 locations across North Staffordshire. As part of a dedicated and well trained team, you will help in delivering this care.
Applicants would be expected to have GCSE’s at grade C or above in English and Maths and an RSA II or above in word processing. Secretarial and administrative experience is also essential.

Your work base will be the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Services Directorate at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Part of the role will be utilisation of the computerised dose adjustment system (DAWN AC), domiciliary visits and clerical duties.
