JOB SUMMARY

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level three Management Consultant position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Arlington, Virginia area.
The Management Consultant is entrusted with the pivotal responsibility of offering leadership and strategic direction to clients while facilitating project execution. Serving as the senior authority in Unified Asset Management (UAM) and insider threat mitigation, this role leverages extensive expertise to develop tailored solutions and best practices across various assessment tasks. The Management Consultant plays a central role in defining project objectives and shaping the strategic vision, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Through insightful guidance and innovative problem-solving, they drive initiatives forward, fostering client success and achieving impactful results.
Job Requirements:

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 10+ years’ experience in technical disciplines such as software engineering, data analysis, network administration
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and Information Technology (IT) systems
  • Demonstrated experience in project management of multi-phase projects
  • Provide leadership and strategic vision to clients, guiding them through complex challenges and opportunities
  • Serve as the senior expert in Unified Asset Management (UAM) and insider threat mitigation, offering specialized knowledge and solutions
  • Develop tailored recommendations and best practices across various assessment tasks, drawing upon extensive experience and industry insights
  • Define project objectives and strategic vision, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and industry standards
  • Facilitate project execution as a skilled project facilitator, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders
  • Drive initiatives forward through innovative problem-solving and proactive decision-making, delivering impactful results for clients
  • Conduct thorough assessments and analysis to identify key areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive solutions that address client needs and drive sustainable change
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development within the organization
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings and deliver value to clients

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant background of administration/management, Engineering, IT or Finance
  • MS/MA degree is preferred
  • CompTIA Sec+, CISSP preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
