DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Job:
The Management Consulting Associate will be responsible for identifying prospective opportunities and utilize several outbound communication channels to begin sales engagement. Directly engaging with high potential prospects, building relationships with industry professionals, and understanding their needs. Supports the development of sales proposals for selling management consulting services. Implements opportunity response, plans activities, deliverables, owners, milestones, etc. Will also create appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices, etc. between offices.

Essential Functions:

  • \tMap out organizational structures of leading corporate firms to identify prospective users
  • \tWork with Business Director on go-to-market strategy for lead generation
  • \tCoordinate with Sr. Director, Commercial to identify key decision makers at priority prospects
  • \tDeploy creative outbound sales efforts by leveraging several communications methods including cold calling, cold emailing, direct mail, LinkedIn invites and others
  • \tArrange and participate in prospective sales meetings
  • \tWork with global market research team to analyse and interpret client, competitor, and market information as required in support of client and/or opportunity strategy development.
  • \tPreparing written and graphical elements of sales opportunity response documents such as proposals, qualifications, and presentations in accordance with Client requirements.
  • \tResponsible for end to end delivery of bid including coordination with other relevant stakeholders
  • \tDevelop and manage collateral for the Management Consulting business unit
  • \tEnsures adherence to standards and templates to present a consistent appearance/style in compliance with our branding guidelines
  • \tMaintain accurately the Stantec Opportunities Pipeline (SOP) related to upcoming, ongoing and submitted proposals
  • \tSupports in maintaining and updating registrations with clients, including within online procurement systems
  • \tContribute, participate, and support continuous process improvement within the Management Consulting Business Unit

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • \tBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Engineering
  • \tAt least 5 years working experience in management consulting with experience in generating professional proposals for management consulting services
  • \tExperience generating prospects and working with sales workflow tools
