Description:

Job Purpose:
For a small team of BI specialists, we are looking for a new colleague to support the activities as a Junior Management Reporting Analyst. In a nutshell, you will be responsible for completing management reporting activities and fulfilling reporting requirements for the company. This will include gathering data from various sources, analyzing the data, preparing financial models, and creating and distributing key financial management reports for the organization. For this role, we are looking for an independent, proactive person with strong analytical skills. Though work experience in a similar role would be beneficial, we are also open to more junior applicants with strong interest in reporting and data management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with reporting (ideally management reporting) or related experience in finance administration accompanied by strong interest in reporting and data management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other business-related or data focused discipline
  • Good English language skills
  • MS Excel advanced skills
    o Minimum: Advanced formulas

    o Preferred: Data import and transformation using Power Query and M formula language, etc.

  • Experience in producing reports, dashboards, and scorecards, and compiling complex data using Power BI and other equivalent reporting tools would be a big advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Support management reporting activities
  • Perform required administrative tasks related to planning, data management and project reporting
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities including collecting raw data and preparing financial models
  • Support creation of custom reports as requested by stakeholders e.g., for specific projects
  • Support and/or refresh dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time views of KPIs and metrics
  • Support continuous improvement of the management reporting process
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of reporting activities
  • Collaborate with other teams and colleagues to achieve the best results and accuracy
