Description:
As a Management Trainee (Finance), you will play a critical role in the accounting operations, legal compliance, corporate governance functions.
Area of exposure will include:
- Legal Compliance and Corporate Governance:
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Manage corporate governance activities, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and regulatory filings.
Maintain corporate records and ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices.
- Financial Management and Reporting:
Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
Involvement with financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
- Strategic Financial Planning:
Assist with roll-out of financial strategies and initiatives to support business growth and profitability.
Provide financial guidance and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify and assess legal, regulatory, and financial risks facing the company.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Other Ad- hoc projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounts.
1 -2 years of internship/full time experience in Finance roles, ideally with exposure to financial management, compliance, corporate governance functions.
Strong understanding of accounting standards , general corporate law, financial principles, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage complex projects effectively.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools, accounting software (preferred), and Microsoft Office suite.
