DWF Law LLP is seeking people to join its premier non-legal Regulatory Consultancy Practice, which aims to help businesses navigating the ever-changing regulatory landscape.
Our objective is clear: to empower regulated businesses across all sectors with a comprehensive suite of consultancy services, covering everything from adeptly manoeuvring through regulatory changes and implementing new regulations to ensuring stringent compliance with conduct issues, deftly managing reporting and financial crime prevention challenges and beyond.
We stand on the cusp of an exhilarating era for our Regulatory Consultancy team, as we continue our upward trajectory, consistently surpassing previous milestones. Currently, we are actively seeking a Manager to join our team.

ABOUT YOU

For our CAR Market Stream, we are looking for the right individual who has comprehensive experience of working in the Retail Banking and Consumer Lending sectors. Payments experience is also additive for applicants interested in the role. You will have either worked directly with clients in these sectors, or previous provided consultancy advice in one or more of these sectors . You will also have a broad experience of working across different areas of compliance and regulatory support, with particular focus on conduct risk and governance being desirable. You will also be someone who has a thirst for knowledge and keeping your technical knowledge up-to-date – relevant recognised industry qualifications are desirable to evidence this. Previous experience of knowledge sharing with others is also a plus.
In addition, you will have a proven track record of managing people and projects/workstreams. It will be desirable for you to be able to demonstrate that you have experience of scoping, planning and delivering projects, as well managing resource. You will also have experience of managing clients or internal stakeholders, and ideally prior engagement with regulators. Previous experience of consulting is not essential but it will be beneficial to demonstrate similar skills from other roles.
Finally, as a growing and dynamic team, you will be someone who is able to bring a can-do attitude and ideas and energy to meet our objectives. You will keen to jump straight in and can adapt to changing priorities, and support others at the same time.

Responsibilities:

As a Regulatory Consultancy Manager, you’ll dive headfirst into engaging, challenging and high-impact projects, providing indispensable support to our clients in our Consumer and Retail (CAR) Market Stream. There will also be opportunities to provide work across a number of other market streams including, Wealth & Investment Management, Insurance, Financial Crime Compliance, Corporate governance, Risk and Sustainability.
