Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience as Senior Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on skills in data-related transformation initiatives.
  • Previous exposure to wealth platforms, financial advice or investment management is advantageous but not essential.
  • Advanced SQL skills and data modelling capability.
  • Demonstrated recent experience with Power BI and SQL is essential, should be considered advanced or a subject matter expert within current team.
  • Familiarity with building Power BI data models and possesses the ability to own the Distribution Data model.
  • Acts autonomously on most decisions. Requires guidance on more complex judgements.
  • Accountable for the completion of assigned projects, processes or programs.
  • Applies strong understanding of a specialised discipline and basic to intermediate understanding of other disciplines.
  • Typical qualifications and experience (on entry) - 5+ years’ relevant professional and/or management experience, and industry/tertiary qualifications.
  • Advanced understanding of functional area and a competent understanding of the overall firm and competitive environment.
  • Provides input into new products, processes, standards or business plans in support of BU/Group strategy, with some impact on results for a division.
  • Applies technical capability within some areas of a line of business/function within a BU.
  • Analyses difficult problems and issues; and improves or modifies existing methods and processes in own work are
