Overview
The Manager / Assistant Manager, Compliance (Advisory & Specialist Support) will report to the Head - Compliance Advisory & Specialist Support and is responsible to assess and advise on regulatory compliance as well as to support the Group’s Compliance framework, initiatives and activities in line with the Group’s strategic direction, regulatory and global standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend solutions to address specific challenges faced by the Bank in regulatory compliance matters and advise business/support units on compliance to laws, rules and standards.
  • Identify, assess and advise impact of regulatory compliance risks during new product/services development, process, marketing/promotional campaigns and other related activities.
  • Review submission of relevant regulatory compliance reports/responses to regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
  • Resolve identified issues, and escalate concerns to respective superiors as appropriate to ensure timely awareness of any material concerns, drive compliance related projects bank wide as and when required.
  • Conduct training to stakeholders on key Compliance topics, e.g.: Data Protection and Secrecy, BNM Foreign Exchange Policy, CRS/FATCA, FTFC.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Law/Accounting or any equivalent.

Experience

  • 6 years and above experience in legal or compliance regulatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing in English language, through all levels of the organization.

Other Requirement

  • Malaysian citizen
