• Experience in internal audit, external audit or risk management preferred.
• Proven experience or demonstrated desire to learn internal audit techniques.
• Knowledge and understanding of the risk landscape of the banking and financial services sector.
• Ability to execute tasks with a sense of urgency and with the ultimate goal of delivering audits and assigned tasks on time with a capability in deriving other audit and commercial insights.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to influence others at all levels while maintaining objectivity and independence.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise commitments.
• Strong knowledge of FCC risks across AML/CFT, Economic & Trade Sanctions, regulations and directives and an understanding of ML/TF typologies
