Overview:
Primarily responsible for directing the allied health professional teams that provide authorization of services, utilization review, and therapy services for Behavioral Health patients in the acute care psychiatric units and related areas. Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling; required.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of clinical practice with a broad based background in multiple aspects of psychiatry and mental health, required.
  • Minimum of two years of previous supervisor experiences, preferred.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: LPC, LCSW, LMFT or LCAS in appropriate state; required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
