Job Description
The Business Intelligence Enablement Manager is responsible for leading the capability and cross-functional team of BI analysts and Power Users to develop and implement strategies for optimizing data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. This role involves overseeing the design and maintenance of data reporting/consumption layer systems, managing data quality and integrity, and identifying opportunities for leveraging automation and efficiencies in how Canada Goose uses and reports our data.
The BI Manager collaborates with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and deliver actionable and tangible BI Products & Services. Strong leadership skills, proven success with BI tools and technologies, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts/SMEs in Hub & Spoke Model to develop and implement strategies for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Lead change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of BI solutions across the organization, including training programs and support resources for users.
  • Design BI governance framework and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data security standards.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data systems and databases to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and deliver insights that support their objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data visualization, reporting automation, and dashboard design.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BI tools and technologies and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners as needed for BI initiatives.
  • Communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
