We are hiring a Blackline - Technical Admin who will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Blackline application. This role will encompass user account and role management, system maintenance and customization, report creation, workflow optimization, and issue troubleshooting. In addition, you will actively support projects aimed at process streamlining and automation, along with enhancing and integrating Blackline modules.
This role will report to the Director – Enterprise Applications. We are looking for a leader with experience in supporting the Blackline application. In supporting Blackline, you will assist in implementing enhancements and improving any related processes. You will also help support any data integrations and validation processes. You will work with all internal groups that utilize Blackline to gather ongoing requirements for end-user enhancements and changes. You will assist in building, maintaining, and updating the application.

We are looking for someone with the following competencies.
Application administration : User and role management, system maintenance and configuration, report creation, workflow optimization, and user training and support.
Integration: Understanding the integration between Oracle Cloud Fusion (ERP), Blackline, and other transactional systems (e.g. EPIC – Broker management system).
Ongoing support & testing: Maintain and test the Blackline software program updates to ensure functionality.
Strong vision and background in technical product management with the ability to harness cross-industry knowledge of leading-edge technical product capabilities and translate that into capabilities that can be delivered to the finance team.
Coordinate with the finance team and/or technical staff to resolve issues with Blackline applications.
Test, implement, and maintain Blackline applications.
Exhibit expertise in Blackline platforms, across various modules including Account Recs, Task Management,
Variance Analysis, leveraging this knowledge to optimize business operations.
Build strong relationships with internal business teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring a unified approach to technology implementation and use.
Required Experience
10+ years of total experience with a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or related field.
Preferably 3+ years of experience administering Blackline applications as a system admin.
Experience with technical accounting systems and related solutions specifically Blackline.
Demonstrate strong expertise and knowledge of product management, software development, and financial processes and solutions.
Strong financial, analytical and systems acumen.
Strong capability and affinity for innovative problem-solving.
Willing to learn and dedicated to continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Intermediate/Advanced Excel, VBA knowledge a plus.
Ability to interact with IT and various functions, as well as with various levels of management.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities.
