Description:

We’re looking for a Manager, Business Analysis & Insights in Schiphol, Rijk
Manage delivery of timely, high-quality insights on Liberty Global’s commercial and operational performance, recent business and technology trends, perform benchmark analysis, and review competitive actions (e.g., product launches, pricing adjustments, offers). Support Senior Manager and Director of Business Analysis and Insights, as well as the broader CEO Office team.
The role involves understanding the data and insight needs of senior management in decision-making process, tracking and monitoring respective operational metrics, and articulating actionable insights derived from the metrics.
Furthermore, this role requires developing and maintaining constructive dialogue with markets counterparts (commercial, strategy, finance teams).
The job role holder will also be able to deputise for the Senior Manager Business Analysis and Insights whenever is necessary.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop, support, and manage elements of commercial analysis and reporting for the CEO Office.
  • Prepare commercial analysis and reporting for the CEO, Board meetings, and internal events.
  • Manage collection and reporting of commercial data for monthly CEO 360 meetings.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for OpCos regarding queries from OpCo Chief of Staffs about CEO office team activities.
  • Support transition commercial analysis from Excel to Power BI, including data cleaning, transformation, and modelling.
  • Design visually appealing and insightful Power BI dashboards for executive audiences.
  • Create custom Power BI visualizations based on Chief of Staff requests.
  • Perform analysis to identify business trends, operational performance, and industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with local commercial teams and Chiefs of Staff, as well as central departments to collect relevant data based on Ad-Hoc requests.
  • Build and utilize system reports to track key operational initiatives and flag commercial trend issues.
  • Identify, flag and discuss commercial data quality issues with central reporting team and Chief of Staffs in country operations.
  • Work in an international environment, engaging with stakeholders across different time zones.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Relevant years of experience across a mixture or finance, strategy, consultancy and/or commercial operations.
  • Industry knowledge in telecom and media preferred.
  • Excellent and proven consulting skills, including storyboarding, quantitative and qualitative analysis, business modelling and report writing.
  • Excellent Excel and Power BI modelling skills and PowerPoint skills.
  • Preferred Hyperion management information system experience.

Preferred education/ qualifications

  • Masters Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering.

  • Strong teaming capabilities with the ability to operate independently, affect change across functions, and take constructive input from multiple sources and deliver results.
