Description:

SUMMARY:

As a Manager of the New Business Development Team, you will lead, coach, and motivate a team to create quality prospect appointments and sales-ready leads for our senior sales representatives. A vital member of the sales leadership team, you’ll be working closely with our marketing and data research functions to shape and deliver on the regional strategy for prospect generation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of inside and/or outside sales leadership experience; telesales experience is required, with experience in high-volume sales calls (60+ a day) considered strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the financial markets will be a plus, along with payment process understanding (training will be given)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com), and sales-enablement technologies
  • Demonstrated level of managing sales pipeline during the interview process
  • Exception interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills; organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the US Business Development team’s day-to-day activities;
  • Support the assignment of prospects and leads within the BD team;
  • Supervise the lead generation process, provide coaching, drive KPI-based activities, and ensure that any issues are resolved efficiently;
  • Participate in the recruitment, orientation, training, and set up of new hires in the team;
  • Work closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow;
  • Liaise with management to ensure alignment;
  • Drive adoption and efficient use of our sales enablement technologies;
  • Able to lead by example, producing your own prospect appointments and sales-ready leads;
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
