Description:
SUMMARY:
As a Manager of the New Business Development Team, you will lead, coach, and motivate a team to create quality prospect appointments and sales-ready leads for our senior sales representatives. A vital member of the sales leadership team, you’ll be working closely with our marketing and data research functions to shape and deliver on the regional strategy for prospect generation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of inside and/or outside sales leadership experience; telesales experience is required, with experience in high-volume sales calls (60+ a day) considered strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the financial markets will be a plus, along with payment process understanding (training will be given)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com), and sales-enablement technologies
- Demonstrated level of managing sales pipeline during the interview process
- Exception interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills; organizational and administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the US Business Development team’s day-to-day activities;
- Support the assignment of prospects and leads within the BD team;
- Supervise the lead generation process, provide coaching, drive KPI-based activities, and ensure that any issues are resolved efficiently;
- Participate in the recruitment, orientation, training, and set up of new hires in the team;
- Work closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow;
- Liaise with management to ensure alignment;
- Drive adoption and efficient use of our sales enablement technologies;
- Able to lead by example, producing your own prospect appointments and sales-ready leads;
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
