    As a climate leader, Westpac NZ seeks to provide best in class climate reporting. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Manager Climate Reporting, to play a critical part in our climate related reporting under Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards (NZ CS).
    Mō te tūranga | About the Role
    Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Climate Reporting within Finance, you will support the delivery of Westpac New Zealand’s Climate-related Disclosures. As a key member of the team, you will work to ensure our climate-related reporting meets external reporting standards and stakeholder expectations and adheres to internal governance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business to co-ordinate and support their respective inputs to the report.
  • Support with managing the external assurance relationship.
  • Conduct ongoing benchmarking of climate-related disclosures against peers.
  • Ensure our climate-related reporting meets external requirements for regulatory disclosure.
  • Ensure our climate-related reporting follows internal due-diligence processes.

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Understanding of climate change issues, including related risks and opportunities for financial institutions desirable.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand Climate Standards desirable (XRB.)
  • Experience with financial/regulatory reporting also desirable.
  • Experience in Sustainability or a passion for working in the area of Climate Change.
  • Ability to work at pace in a dynamic environment.
