EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Health Sciences Profession.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Health Administration or Health Informatics.
- Supplemented by a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a health care environment, including extensive experience leading the integration of computer technologies in clinical practice, regional policy and practice development and in establishing integrated clinical/systems environment through clinical change management methodologies, and clinical data architecture across the care continuum.
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, facilitate and lead others, and to foster a respectful and motivating environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and practices.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills with a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills related to clinical data architecture, data integrity, and translation of data across care sectors and services resulting in a fully integrated electronic health record.
- Demonstrated knowledge of new trends in clinical practice and information systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective problem solving techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with technical, operational and vendor representatives.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate in a team setting, as well as effectively work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to be change oriented and possess an attitude of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, work with minimal direct supervision, and have the ability to organize and prioritize workload and projects in a self-directed manner.Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
