Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Growth Manager leads the H-D digital ambition to drive growth in direct digital business in APAC while also enabling multi-channel growth strategies through Digital enablers in line with the overall APAC strategy. The role needs to build the necessary digital strategy, including defining target consumer segments and digital journeys, drive growth in digital channels, and enable the growth through customized assortment, engagement, products, and partnerships across digital ecosystems.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead, enhance and oversee the Digital vision and plan to support APAC and achieve the P&L revenue goals for P&A and A&L as well as bike lead KPI’s established.
- Own financial targets for Digital (eCom)m business E&M Org.
- Oversee and build /buy capabilities that are digital enablers (Defense) to support the APAC strategy.
- Partnering with the Marketing leader for the overall digital marketing and consumer engagement strategy for H-D APAC, from omni channel perspective to achieve vehicle sales, P&A, & A&L objectives.
- Partner and support planning and delivery of omni-channel digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with offline store / dealer teams.
‘MISSION-CRITICAL COOPERATION’ REQUIREMENTS
- Partnering to make sure local and global stakeholders are aligned on key decisions, best practice sharing and go forward plans.
- Pull information from global teams to be aware of initiatives, directions, and playbooks as much as possible to avoid misalignments.
- Partnering with APAC leader to maximize resource and capability extensions.
- On the ground local teams supporting the execution of the Digital business (marketing, sourcing, inventory management, logistics).
- Global eComm sharing best practices and directions (NA/EU programs) to the APAC team.
- Architecture IT support (Tech, Infosec) to ensure scalability and reliability of solutions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related digital or automotive/motorcycle experience.
- Ability to clearly present clearly verbally or written in English.
- Demonstrated ability to act in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues
- Ability to develop rapport with others and build internal and external relationships
- Proven experience in dealing with unresolved solutions, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience working with marketplaces and ecosystems.
- Rich experience and proven track record in successfully building digital capabilities and driving digital channel growth from 0 to 1, or turning around, for strong / premium brands in China’s consumer goods / retail market.
- Ability to prioritize growth opportunities and define growth plans to sales and profit targets in digital channels.
- Excellent communication and data presentation skills, with ability to tailor the communications to the right audience.
