Role Overview
In the role, Manager, Digital Policy Solution (DPS)/Rules, the successful incumbent will have responsibility for managing and maintaining the DPS and Rules Engine. This role will work closely with the Data Governance area to ensure all fields identified in Rules are being audited for completion and compliance with field definitions. Additionally this role will work closely with the Implementation team to translate the terms and conditions of new client contracts into the DPS/Rules Engine. This role will also work closely with the PAS team to ensure the DPS/Rules Engine is delivering a superior, high quality customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use the Sirva data taxonomy with the business naming standards and the consistent data definitions across the organization. Ensure adherence to the data taxonomy.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders in IT, Client Strategic Partner team, Customer Experience and Operations team, Global Operations and Marketing to understand data consumption needs across the business as they apply to DPS/Rules.
  • Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes
  • Define and oversee DPS data governance processes for systems deploy to clients and customers.
  • Ensure all processes documented in DPS/Rules are in compliance to the process documentation; review regularly and update as needed.
  • Be the point of contact for DPS/Rules including escalation point for client concerns.
  • Refine the governance processes as needed as platforms evolve.
  • Identify areas of required improvement for the team and client relative to data and reporting.
  • Manage and monitor the client policies database on client inputs to ensure standard audit rules are met; approve new rules engine requests.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance of the standard set of Chart of Accounts and General Ledger codes. Incorporate any changes or updates into the DPS/Rules Engine.
  • Ensure client policies are effectively translated into the DPS/Rules Engine
  • Work closely with the PAS team to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and implement corrective action
  • Work closely with the Post payment audit team to review errors caused by Rules failures and implement corrective action
  • People leadership for one direct report initially.

What You Bring to Sirva

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience is required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience contributing to the development and structure of an enterprise wide data governance organization and business processes
  • Experience working in a global company preferred
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets. In-depth understanding of database structure principles
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
  • Highly attuned to privacy, confidentiality and security policies and procedures related to personal and other sensitive information
  • Strong understanding of business applications and process mapping and service level management
  • Strong communication ability to interact with both business stakeholders and technical teams, speaking the right language and communicating at the appropriate level of detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to write concise communications, technical documentation, and presentations
  • Understand the concepts of data governance, being an advocate for the implementation and continuous application of governance principles and processes
  • Ability to work through change and work cohesively in a team environment
  • Solid problem solving/decision making skills, ability to prioritize.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Related relocation industry knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment. Hands-on experience with at least 1-2 different data tools
