Description:

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketer who will help transform Hootsuite’s Email Marketing from a communication channel to a performance channel. You have extensive knowledge in email marketing trends, technologies and best practices, which you use to drive results through email programs. You clearly understand the impact of email as a channel in monetization, lead generation & retention targets. Reporting to the Director, Pipeline & Marketing Automation, you’ll be working with other Digital Demand teams to create a best-in class omnichannel experience for our customers while powering our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the strategic priorities and vision for Email Marketing as a Go To Market and Customer Engagement Channel with the Director, Pipeline & Marketing Automation.
  • Responsible for the performance of email (including reporting and analysis) as a marketing channel, proposing strategy updates to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage email deliverability, proactively resolving any issues that may impact the email channel.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to create new email programs and optimize existing ones, in support of monetization, lead generation and customer retention targets.
  • Own email program design, experiment strategy, and processes relating to email marketing.
  • Play an active role in building a best-in-class team, with a responsibility to contribute best practices and serve as a role model, nurturing the team member’s growth and professional development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
