Guidewire seeks an Employee Experience and Belonging Manager to join the DEI team to support the company’s purpose-driven strategy. We’re seeking a talented and thoughtful team player to strengthen and develop Culture, DEI and Employee Engagement programs for our workforce, workplace, community and customers. What You’ll Get To Do In a nutshell, you’ll drive the execution on our strategy for cultivating and refining our Culture and Employee Experience. In true Guidewire fashion, we’ll have fun along the way! Reporting to the Global Head of DEI and Culture, this role will work closely with: The People Team, Employee Communications, Employee Resource Groups, the Ireland Leadership Team and most importantly, our Employees. This inaugural role will be tasked with leading the effort to design, build, and execute key programs surrounding the employee experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of program management and/or project management experience, including projects requiring cross-functional team alignment
  • Ability to articulate vision, strategy, and complex ideas in a clear, concise manner, fostering credibility and confidence among executives and across all levels of the organization.
  • Established background in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and external partners. Should have a track record of successful community engagement initiatives that align with company values and enhance brand reputation.
  • Strong capability in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to draw insights, make data-driven decisions, and measure the impact of DEI initiatives and employee engagement strategies. Proficiency in using analytics tools and presenting findings in an understandable format is essential
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and/or projects involving cross-functional/team alignmentExcellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
  • Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to influence without authority, think proactively, and function independently
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

  • Storytelling: Ability to craft and convey compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Skilled in storytelling to highlight organizational values, celebrate diversity, and communicate the impact of DEI initiatives effectively
  • Experience within Organizational Culture, Employee Experience, Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, or Employee Engagement
  • Background in working with cross-functional, global teams

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Diversity, Inclusion, and Culture champion for the EMEA region, leading and executing strategic initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace. This includes establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with local and regional organizations that align with our D&I goals. Establish and lead a cross-functional team of global culture ambassadors. Empower and support them to activate and embody our values within their respective teams and locations. Provide resources, training, and ongoing support to ensure the effectiveness and alignment of this program across the organization and oversee the annual employee feedback process, including the design and execution of culture surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms. Analyze the data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Identify and collaborate with key partners to enhance our continuous listening strategy, utilizing platforms for surveys, focus groups, and suggestion boxes. Execute these initiatives to gather actionable insights, ensuring diverse employee feedback drives organizational improvement and fosters an open, inclusive environment
  • Develop and implement targeted action plans in collaboration with the DEI Working Group and other key stakeholders to address feedback and enhance the employee experience.
  • Innovate and Implement Hybrid Workforce Experiences: Develop and execute a forward-thinking strategy for our hybrid workforce that strengthens our organizational culture and enhances employee connections across geographical and digital spaces.
  • Create and execute a series of EMEA regional events tailored to the unique cultures and interests of our global teams. These events, from local meetups to virtual cross-regional workshops, are designed to strengthen connections among remote employees and integrate them into the broader company community.
