How you will do it
The Role
As a Manager - Engineering Solutions (Healthcare & Life Sciences / Industrial) , you will establish and cultivate strong relationships with Plexus customers and work closely with our operations team. You will proactively support the sector team, including Business Development and Customer Management, by leveraging your expertise in Manufacturing and Engineering solutions to promote our key capabilities to customers and potential customers.
You will be responsible for ensuring a successful customer visit experience by collaborating with relevant departments and taking ownership of the customer visit process. Ideally you will possess an engineering background, having gained functional management or project management and/or business development experience.
We are seeking an organised individual with strong leadership capabilities, a technical background preferably one involving product development as well as a solid understanding of sales principles and negotiating skills. If you possess these qualities, this role may be an ideal fit for you.
Due to the nature of project work we require candidates to hold U.K. nationality or to either have, or be able to go through, U.K. national security vetting and clearance.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related experience is preferred.
  • Suggested minimum of Three (3) years of project and/or functional management experience or business development experience.
  • Sales related experience is an advantage.
