Description:

Your Impact at Empire
The Manager, Enterprise Architecture is responsible for leading and building technology architecture to support Empire’s Technology transformation roadmap. This role will engage with several Business functions and teams across the divisions to integrate architecture of all portfolio applications, delivering process improvements and automation.
In addition to technology solutions, the appointed leader will facilitate discussions across divisional stakeholders to drive consensus and standardization on technology solutions. This role will also provide consulting support to consolidation of reporting programs on all acquisitions and integrations.
This role is located at our Empire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON.

  • Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, CA Rally, TFS, and/or CLM

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day

  • Lead and collaborate with the business & technology leaders, as well as key vendor partners to bring technical insights
  • Lead Technology Integration Roadmap and architecture of the business solutions needed for a sustainable and scalable solution i.e. API development, evaluating and implementing Integration technology, and development of stored procedures
  • Development of middleware & cloud platforms needed to align & execute operational excellence and business improvement programs (i.e. Applications, Reporting Systems)
  • Executes on all automation projects planned in the IT roadmap through partnership with onsite & offsite vendors and teams
  • Supports the IT Leaders in continuous improvement activities to drive reduction in cycle-times and waste; coaches’ operational teams to conduct continuous improvements projects
