Description:

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER:

  • Prepare and review the performance of in-depth analysis (including building financial models), provide sound financial advice and recommendations to business partners (Leasing, Operations) measure performance of key initiatives business drivers, and provide action steps as needed
  • Participate in partnering with cross-functional business partners (Finance – Strategic Planning & Risk) to critically evaluate assumptions, risk, and opportunities
  • Leverage analytics to produce insights and drive business performance, work with the various business functions (i.e., Leasing, Operations) to create meaningful KPIs, and identify trends and patterns to generate meaningful insights
  • Prepare or review presentations for senior leadership teams
  • Prepare or review the analysis and material for regular and ad hoc projects and presentations (e.g., budgets)
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends, key business / cost drivers, accounting policies etc.
  • Support in proactively identifying growth and efficiency opportunities
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for retail/office assets including but not limited to segment class reporting, occupancy, and leasing flashes
  • Implement process and procedure improvement projects
  • Support the Senior Manager / Senior Director, Financial Analysis & Advisory with insightful and detailed analyses and modelling (ad hoc / regular) to assist in decision support
  • Recommend and test changes to financial reports ensuring they remain current and meaningful
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for participating in partnering with cross-functional business partners and retail/office stakeholders to critically evaluate assumptions, risk, and opportunities. Provides support and advises internal and external stakeholders and partners for all retail/office finance and accounting practices, protocols and standards including financial results and projections. Supports the Senior Manager and Senior Director, FA&A with in-depth analysis (including building financial models) to assist in business and operating decisions at a property and/or project level.
