Reporting to: Director, Phosphate Finance
This person is responsible for: Working closely with key business partners to develop accurate business plans and short-term financial forecasts for the Phosphate business, in addition to ad-hoc financial modeling, data analysis and business analytics to support the Phosphate business senior leadership.
Location: This role is located in Saskatoon, SK.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in providing analysis and insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance the financial performance of the Phosphate business unit
- Develop short-term financial forecasts and the annual plan for the Phosphate business unit which includes P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with a focus on strategic metrics
- Provide detailed variance analysis to various levels of leadership
- Act as the strategic business partner between all Corporate finance groups and the Phosphate business unit
- Develop strong relationships with key business partners, including the commercial, site finance, accounting, corporate planning, and investor relations teams
- Ongoing financial analysis to support the business
- Provide recommendations for simplifying, automating and streamlining models and deliverables
- Complete ad hoc analysis, projects and initiatives as assigned
- Support Phosphate site finance with forecasting, budgeting and special projects as needed
