Responsibilities:
OPPD is looking to add a Manager Generation Asset Management to its Utility Operations team. The Manager Generation Asset Management is responsible for leading and directing the activities, processes, and programs of the Generation Asset Management group. The Generation Asset Management group leads the development of and administers policies and programs to life cycle manage the District’s Generation Assets. This includes directing and overseeing the development of asset management plans aligned with corporate strategy, inspection programs, collecting and analyzing condition and performance data and recommending asset maintenance, modification or replacement. The Manager coordinates maintenance and capital replacement plans with other generation improvement, modification or expansion plans in order to optimize OPPD’s investments. The Manager will advise and guide the District on asset management strategies based on analysis, emerging technologies and evolving industry trends.
- Build and maintain a competent/capable team of staff in alignment with OPPD’s leadership framework.
- Accountable to lead, develop, and implement plans and programs (1-2 years in scope) to achieve OPPD and Utility Operations Business Unit strategic objectives and to deliver desired outputs/assigned KAs of the Asset Management Department.
