Qualifications & Competencies :

  • At least 8-10 years of r elevant experience in owning HR T ransformation initiatives and/or complex project management . to successful completion , ideally with some prior experience in managing a G reenfield HR project.
  • Proven experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional , global and international teams and operating in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong P roject M anagement skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently .
  • Fluen cy in English with excellent communication and presentation skills ; PMP certification (or similar) would b e highly considere

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Brooks Automation is a fast-paced technology company that works on the cutting edge of Semiconductor Robotics and Automation solutions. As we continue to push the capabilities of robotics inside of semiconductor fabs, we are looking for someone to join us in this brand-new, global role driving transf ormation initiatives.
As Manager, Global HR Projects at Brooks , you will lead & execute global HR projects related to our on going organizational change. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with (Senior) HR Leaders, the cross-functional project teams, and with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading the project s through to completion and simultaneously managing several moving project parts efficiently .
As a starting point , you will contribute to the ramp- up of our Greenfield factory location in Malaysia from scratch to one of the biggest locations within Brooks and work closely with the to - be hired HR Leader for Malaysia. Dependent on workload, you may also be managing other global and/or multi-country HR projects simultaneously or transition into other projects towards completion of the Malaysia greenfield project.
The ideal candidate will have strong HR knowledge, project management & presentation skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee various HR projects and initiatives from planning to execution while ensuring adherence to project goals, local compliance, a nd priorities.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, scope, objectives & deliverables, timelines and resource requirements
  • Develop project plans and oversee all project activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure that HR p r ojects in general and the initial Malaysia greenfield project is on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as interface between the business stakeholders and other relevant project stakeholders; effectively communicate project expectations, progress and changes .
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies; drive key meetings with business teams ; track project lessons learned
  • Provide regular status updates and ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and complete.
