Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 or more years of relevant working experience in data governance, PDPA compliance, and / or enterprise risk management
  • Work experience in the social service sector preferred
  • Ability to engage and influence various stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and good team player
  • Well-organised with good attention to details
  • Able to multitask under time constraints and work independently

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Maintain the risk registers of all risks under close monitoring by the organisation.
  • Work with risk owners and the various stakeholders to review and update the risk treatment plans to mitigate / reduce impact and likelihood of risks
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to identify new risks
  • Prepare updates to management, Audit & Risk Committee, and Board on key ERM initiatives

Data Security

  • Work with internal stakeholders to implement and comply with policies and procedures required under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), as well as the data security instructions (DSI) issued by the Ministry
  • Draft and maintain policies and procedures relating to data security and protection
  • Work with internal stakeholders / business units (BU) to perform data protection impact assessments (DPIA) for new processes and systems
  • Maintain a repository of critical records such as data inventory map of SG Enable, data sharing agreements with government agencies and other external parties, as well as DPIA carried out by business units
  • Conduct checks on data protection compliance by internal stakeholders as necessary
  • Work with BU and / or the Ministry to prepare appropriate responses and support investigative efforts in the event of crisis situation involving data management
  • Provide training and communications to staff on best practices in managing client and other confidential information
  • Attend to queries from internal and external parties regarding SG Enable’s data protection practices

Other Duties

  • Support Knowledge Management by drafting policies and / or working with the policy owners to update their policies
  • Liaise with the company’s legal consultant on contractual and other matters
  • Provide support for other duties that may be assigned by the Director of GSE or Senior Management from time to time
