EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required

EXPERIENCE

  • 4 Years’+ experience working in HR data analytics and reporting
  • 4 Years’+ experience working in / alongside Human Resources across a variety of disciplines across centres of excellence and country HR teams

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Highly skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines
  • Knowledge of working with HR Information Systems preferred
  • Strong background in HR and people data analytics
  • Process analysis and continuous improvement tools (and mind set) i.e. Lean, Six Sigma
  • Project management skills desirable

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

The Manager, HR Data & Analytics acts as a key member of the Group HR team, liaising with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the successful use of HR data and to help improve HR reporting to the HR team, business, leadership team and to support our external reporting requirements. This is a big opportunity for the right person to help improve and mature our data management, reporting and deliver real insight to improve our people performance. The role holder is responsible for providing accurate and timely HR information, data and analysis and supporting the improvement of our HR data, systems, and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and implementation of the IHS HR data strategy.
  • Develop and produce the global HR dashboard; continually looking to improve the IHS’s people reporting capabilities.
  • Manage the global people databases and sources including the Global HR database, IHS Academy training data, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and any related HR applications governing data quality to ensure data is up-to-date, accurate and complete.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, understanding their requirements and presenting solutions based on data insights.
  • Provide data and analytics for regular projects and processes including organisational design work, talent acquisition, training, talent management, diversity & inclusion, performance management and succession planning.
  • Be responsible for the HR inputs into regular company level reporting i.e. quarterly ESG & GRI reporting, ensuring robust preparation and management of the HR data and documentation.
  • Provide data and insight for HR Leadership and Governance Meetings, providing challenge as necessary to help make data driven decisions.
  • Identify and drive improvements in the management and use of HR data as well as opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve HR policies and processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for data analysis across HR, providing training, coaching and support as required including running the data working group.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and policy (i.e. GDPR).
  • Identify data issues/risks and raise through the appropriate channels.
