POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner for Research will support the Research organization in driving the people strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, team effectiveness and change management efforts. This person will be responsible for multiple projects to provide Business Partnership support to the respective Research functions and HRBP team as needed, will coordinate and ensure the execution of the deliverables related to the Functions in scope, and provide the appropriate level of connection and alignment with the service delivery leads in People Services and Global COEs to ensure the objectives of the HR team and clients are fully met.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree preferred, with at least 6 years of relevant HR experience
  • Proven success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making and in supporting global organizations
  • Experience in the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance
  • Experience in leading change management efforts including defining change and communication plans
  • Ability to navigate within the HR matrix and build a solid and trusted network to ensure HR objectives are fully met

Responsibilities:

•Translates business strategy and organizational needs into contemporary global organizational performance solutions including organizational design, talent management, and culture change. •Translates the Research strategies into the BMS People Strategy and monitors the effectiveness of organization performance programs through the use of metrics and analytics in a way that brings value to the business.

  • Works with COE’s to monitor external environment (e.g., job market, technology, demographic development) and define future workforce requirements (quantitative and qualitative) as well as identifying and articulating the HR needs of the business to the COE’s and deploys their programs and processes in ways that bring value to the business.
  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners and People Services leaders for effective deployment of all the Research HR activities.
  • Develops strong relations with PS and COEs partners globally to ensure a smooth and flawless execution of the Research People Strategy related actions.
  • Analyzes key data and trends to drive organizational effectiveness and the development of a workforce plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.
  • Tracks succession planning, diversity aspirational goal achievement and drives talent retention efforts pipelining, as necessary, for external talent. Takes a leadership role in creating a respectful & inclusive work environment while role-modeling the BMS Behaviors and fostering geographical and cultural diversity.
