Manager, Human Capital Generalist
Your Impact:
Internal Human Capital Function
- Servicing and supporting the Human Capital function for family office clients, including working with a range of domestic and household employees; creating a partnership with client service team colleagues to provide value-added Human Capital support
- Developing and implementing Human Capital strategy and policy, including but not limited to retention initiatives, performance management, training, and employee development
- Maintaining the integrity and completeness of all Human Capital and personnel data, including all employee information and documents, process documentation, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with a range of domestic and international legal requirements, including OSHA, EEOC, safety, employment, wage and hour, workers’ compensation, etc., and developing or maintaining employee handbooks as required
- Managing one Geller direct report and liaising with internal stakeholders
Employee Relations
- Coordinating talent acquisition and onboarding, including creation of job descriptions, liaising with recruiting vendors, reviewing resumes, facilitating the execution of NDAs, interviewing candidates and preparing offer letters
- Managing the full client employee life cycle and all end-to-end Human Capital processes
- Facilitating on-boarding and orientation, including background checks, the I-9 process, and initial trainings
- Responding to and managing employee relations matters and queries
- Managing separation communications, process, and documentation
- Providing appropriate communications and promoting employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives
- Coordinating and managing immigration cases with outside legal service providers to ensure compliance, an optimal process timeline, and maximum efficiency, when required
- Completing employment verifications and unemployment inquiries
Compensation, Benefits, & Payroll
- Managing compensation processes, including compensation analyses, compensation benchmarking, and the preparation of compensation schedules and total reward statements
- Overseeing the review and approval of payroll on regular basis for all domestic and household employees
- Supervising benefits administration, including managing the benefit enrollment process and ongoing benefits management
What You’ll Offer:
- BA/BS degree required (in Human Resources a plus)
- Minimum of 7 years of Human Capital experience
- Experience with compensation, payroll and benefits administration required
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Analytical skills and a strong detail-orientation
- Ability to manage tasks carefully and accurately, even in a dynamic, fast paced, and evolving environment
- Self-starter approach with demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong judgement and discretion (confidentiality of client information is key)
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, driving deliverables where required or executing through collaborative discussion (versus clear direction) when necessary
- Willingness to travel to client locations, both domestically and abroad

The base salary range for this position is:
$153,000 - $187,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits as well as the potential for an annual bonus consideration
