Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The Manager – Legal Technology & Projects is a is a high-profile role within Crown Resorts that supports our properties in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced technology professional to lead operational excellence within the group legal function by driving best practice through technology and systems. You’ll ensure that data retention and the management of advice and expertise across the in-house legal function is achieved, contribute to uplifting our current workflows and provide strategic support to the Group General Counsel on technical solutions.
SOME OF YOUR DAY TO DAY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Providing technical solutions that are consistent with nationally agreed standards
- Supporting the Compliance team with technical and operational support
- Driving high performance through the delivery of technical solutions, whilst educating the business to build broader capabilities and smart solutions
- Working with Legal and other business units to assess risks and develop solutions to problems arising in any work
- Coordinating team resources, managing stakeholder expectations and consistently delivering projects on time, on budget and to desired quality
- Contributing ideas and developing strategic initiatives, workflows and technical solutions that are commercial and meet business needs
- Building networks and relationships within the Crown Group and with external services providers, sharing knowledge and acting as a role model, leader and trusted advisor.
