Description:

Our Group Treasury Reporting, Risk, Analytics, and Platform team are responsible for delivering quality liquidity information to fulfil regulatory reporting obligations and liquidity management.

What role you will play?
As a Data Management specialist, you will gain broad exposure to both projects and BAU activities. Your day-to-day tasks will include working closely with teams across Macquarie’s many businesses to gain a deeper understanding of business operations, systems and processes underpinning end-to-end data flows while also making use of enterprise data management tools to map data lineage, review data quality rules and document data quality issues. You will also investigate issues with our data quality, conducting root cause analysis and overseeing action plans for remediation.

What you offer

  • 4-10 years’ experience in data management or consulting, working within the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of financial products such as Bonds/Swaps or relevant domain experience within treasury or liquidity
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to reconcile complex issues as well as strong communication skills to quickly build relationships
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise responsibilities in a rapidly changing environment.
