Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the Manager, Logistics, you will oversee and direct the operations of our European Equipment Processing Center (EEPC) across four locations and three product groups. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing various functions including Order Management, Customer Service, Supply, Scheduling, Production, and Quality functions for a growing number of Prime products (Machines and work tools) processed.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the US Equipment Processing Center (EPC).
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of six EPC locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, prioritizing safety, and compliance.
- Lead a diverse team across multiple functions, fostering a culture of LEAN, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives to drive an engineered end-to-end value chain.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as Sales, Engineering, and Logistics to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (PQVC) to identify for areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
- Manager third-party logistics (3PL) partners and ensure laser performance focus to meet operational targets.
- Work closely with internal customers (EXD, EMD, BCP, PSB) to understand their requirements and align operational processes accordingly.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.
