We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to manage two neighboring properties in Table View for our client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in guest house or backpacker management, along with strong financial and HR skills. This live-in position requires a hands-on manager who can handle daily operations, guest relations, staff management, and financial oversight.
Oversee daily operations of both properties, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, maintaining an accurate booking system.
Supervise, train, and schedule staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Handle financial tasks, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly.
Maintain the properties, coordinating with maintenance personnel for repairs and improvements.
Foster a welcoming and positive environment for guests and staff.
Previous experience managing a guest house or backpacker accommodation is essential.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and expense tracking.
Experience in HR functions, including hiring, training, and staff supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Must be willing to live on-site.
Knowledge of Table View and surrounding areas is a plus.
