Description:


  • Conducting comprehensive market access landscape assessments to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Performing detailed market analyses on market access relevant topics.
  • Gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence focused on market access and HEOR activities.
  • Tracking, collecting, and synthesizing evidence to support HEOR initiatives and maintain up-to-date information.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies and launch sequences for new products.
  • Providing training on market access and HEOR topics to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Responsibility for the market access and HEOR intelligence strategy, process and activities within the Business Unit Clinical Nutrition:

  • Conducting comprehensive market access landscape assessments to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Performing detailed market analyses on market access relevant topics.
  • Gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence focused on market access and HEOR activities.
  • Tracking, collecting, and synthesizing evidence to support HEOR initiatives and maintain up-to-date information.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies and launch sequences for new products.
  • Providing training on market access and HEOR topics to internal stakeholders.

Your assignments

  • Market Access Landscape Assessment:
  • You will monitor, analyse and report market access policies, trends, payer policies, healthcare regulations, changes in reimbursement systems and identification and assessment of relevant stakeholders in key markets to anticipate their impact on market access, in close collaboration with regional business centers and market units to provide insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Competitive Intelligence:
  • You will gather and analyse information on competitor products, pricing strategies, market positioning, and market access tactics to inform the market access strategy.
  • You will critically assess product concepts in close collaboration with the regional counterparts and medical-scientific affairs and challenge their viability during the early development stages, as support to the portfolio team.
  • You will also contribute to pipeline development
  • Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Support: You will collaborate with the market access managers to track, collect and synthesize health economic data, outcomes research, and real-world evidence to supply substantiating evidence for the market access strategy.
  • Pricing Strategy Development:
  • Contributing to the development of pricing strategies for pharmaceutical products based on market intelligence, cost-effectiveness analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • You will support regional business centers and market units with requests on international reference pricing, price certificates and tender support
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You will build relationships with key stakeholders including payers, government agencies, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups to understand their perspectives and needs related to market access.
  • You will provide training and local support to internal teams on market access-related topics.
  • Market Access Planning:
  • You will support the development of comprehensive market access plans that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements in different regions.
  • You will be responsible for Traning and Local Support

Your profile

  • You hold a successfully completed university degree in science, pharmacy or business administration
  • You have at least 2-3 years of work experience within the pharmaceutical industry in regional or international roles, focusing on market access and/or health economy strategy projects, and with close collaboration with multiple market units
  • You have expertise in identifying sources of market and competitor insights, structuring and selecting relevant information
  • You have gained excellent analytical skills
  • You are able to transfer complex science into simple, market-relevant value concepts and messages
  • You have the ability to work in a complex, international environment
  • You have strong communication skills to moderate and lead discussions with peers and senior management
  • You are fluent in the English language (written & spoken), additional languages are an advantage
  • You are a self-starter and self-moticated
  • You are willing to travel occasionally
