As Manager Nature Strategy and Analytics, you will report to the Senior Manager Nature Strategy and:

  • support the development of the Group’s nature strategy, including our approach to emerging frameworks such as the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD)
  • develop methodologies to assess and monitor nature-related risks, impacts and dependencies across our lending portfolios
  • work with internal and external business partners to deliver decision useful nature-related analytics and embed these into business processes
  • monitor developments in the Australian and international peer landscape, standards and regulations in relation to nature
  • support updates to the Group’s environmental and social policy on topics related to naturecontribute to the Environmental and Social team’s high performing and inclusive culture

We’re interested in hearing from people with:

  • previous experience in performing geospatial analysis and data visualisation
  • background in environmental science discipline such as ecology or hydrology will be an advantage but not essential
  • superior written communications skills, including board and / or other executive reporting, ability to explain complex concepts in simple language and strong attention to detail
  • comfort working with a level of ambiguity and ability to independently manage deliverables to a deadline
  • curious mindset and active learner with an appetite to seek out developments in market practice and frameworks and provide recommendations and draw out insights
  • experience in large corporate or financial services will be an advantage but not essential
