Description:

We are in search of a proficient Credit Clerk to join our team within the banking industry situated in North Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be pivotal in processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records. This position will require you to monitor customer credit accounts diligently and take appropriate action to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure customer credit records are up-to-date and accurate
  • Closely monitor customer credit accounts for any discrepancies
  • Take necessary action to collect overdue payments from customers
  • Utilize accounting software systems effectively to handle accounting functions
  • Employ ERP Solutions for efficient resource planning
  • Apply knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in daily tasks
  • Conduct auditing where necessary
  • Handle billing functions as part of the role
  • Use Great Plains (GPAC) to manage accounting functions.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
  • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Knowledge of ERP Solutions
  • Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC)
  • Experience in managing Accounting Functions
  • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience in Auditing
  • Knowledge of Billing Functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Solid understanding of banking industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Experience in a supervisory role in an accounting department is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • CPA certification is preferred
