MANAGER OF CLINIC SERVICES – VANCOUVER, BC

The Manager of Clinic Services, reporting to the Area Manager, is accountable for creating an environment in the clinic that exemplifies CBI Health’s purpose, values, and client promise. Further, this role is crucial in the development of team members by effectively coaching, mentoring, and engaging clinical and non-clinical team members, while also building and deepening partnerships in the community that result in business growth.
The Manager of Clinic Services leads the clinic in delivering outstanding client experience, executing effective and efficient clinical programs, and ensuring successful attainment of clinical excellence and associated business outcomes; effective leadership of complex and acute care services including physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and mental health is the key to success in delivering this mandate.
This position is a full time opportunity, open to an operational leader, or a clinician looking for leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster and support clinic team with engagement in the community of local physicians and funders (WCB, Auto Insurance Adjusters and LTD); developing and nurturing relationships with stakeholders and organizations that refer patients to CBI Health
  • Provide input into clinic business decisions, service delivery models and developmental opportunities for team members that align with key strategic goals
  • Coach, mentor, develop and performance manage team members through consistent use of performance review process, ensuring all team members understand their key accountabilities, perform to the expected level and have access to training and development resources
  • Take an active role in onboarding activities of clinical and non-clinical team members to enhance creating a talent-rich and high-performing team with a focus on excellence in client experience
  • Provide access to care through service provision (clinical) or contribute towards client experience and business initiatives of the clinic or the local area clinics (non-clinical)
  • Set and deliver on clinic goals that align with the key strategic priorities and implement service delivery models
  • Monitor client care and outcomes through file reviews with clinical team and review of clinical practice indicators; ensure compliance to client data collection
  • Lead the administrative team in schedule management to drive timely access to services and schedule discipline
  • Provide strong leadership through effective people management and engagement activities that create an environment which draws and retains high-performing talent who live the values of CBI Health
  • Deliver on service excellence by leading initiatives and ongoing attention to ensuring the clinic meets expected access and consistency of service delivery standards for all clinical services, while ensuring the team has the tools and training to deliver the best clinical outcomes
  • Organize resources to solve problems and make tough decisions, while functioning independently as well as part of a team
  • As a clinician in the MCS role, you create individualized care plans and coach clients through an evidence based treatment approach to ensure outcomes align with sustainable return to work/function
  • You’ll accurately assess, communicate and provide hands-on treatment
  • As a non-clinician in the MCS role, you provide a personalized client experience through effective scheduling maximizing access to care, providing personalized interactions with clients, and problem solving and reducing friction for both clients and team members
