The Manager of Finance reports to the Director of Corporate & Financial Services and is responsible for
supporting the financial reporting and asset management processes for the City. The Manager of Finance
ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting practices and standards, and with the City’s policies
and bylaws. This position requires the ability to communicate with the public, government staff and present
information as needed to elected officials. This position will work with all departments to provide professional
expertise, advice and assistance as required.
Qualifications include completion of a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related
discipline, supplemented with the Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and a minimum 5 years
of progressive financial/accounting/management experience, preference will be given to those with asset
management experience.

This position has a salary range of $100,000 to $115,000, commensurate with education and experience and
includes a comprehensive benefit package, Municipal Pension Plan and relocation assistance.
