JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will lead the global online content development and design teams. You will establish guidelines around developing online training and dynamic visual content that is used by customers, partners, and employees. You will work closely with department stakeholders to set priorities driven by the company’s growth objectives. You will be responsible for bringing innovation to developing educational experiences through applying modern instructional design methodologies and communication design practices.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Manage a group of experienced online content design and development
  • professionals
  • Guide future development based on the company objectives
  • Determine/Implement operational efficiencies for the content team
  • Manage localized training content
  • Provide input and guidance on content development for internal teams developing their own content
  • Manage course consumption and utilization
  • Set the strategic direction of the department, based on input from management, instructional designers, leadership, and other departments
  • Manage and adhere to budget for specific projects
  • Implement improvements based on feedback provided by the CSAT
  • Guide and advise managers to implement effective methods for enhancing
  • performance, improving efficiency, and recognizing outstanding performance
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Create, communicate, and guide the implementation of the educational philosophy, visual branding, and instructional methodologies across the department through management directives

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or Business
  • 10+ years of training content development experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Examples of experience using Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign, After Effects), Articulate, Vyond, Blender, and other training development tools
  • Experience managing a multi-level team focused on online technology training and visual communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in publishing content to a learning management system
  • Strong written and verbal communication

The salary range for this role is $100,000-130,000 per year.
