Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will support the uplift and embedment of the Operational Risk Management Framework, supporting tools and guidance.
Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to achieve sound risk management practices and provide insightful advice.
Contribute at both a divisional and bank-wide level through working with key teams, engaging with governance forums and liaising with Commonwealth Bank of Australia counterparts on the Operational Risk Management Framework and monitoring outcomes, whilst looking for simplification and improvement opportunities.
As a strategic and critical thinker who understands the commercial objectives of our business, you will thrive in this opportunity to drive ongoing uplift in operational risk management across ASB. The following experience will also ensure your success in this role:
- Experience in Risk disciplines ideally gained within large organisations
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across L1 and L2 Risk to leverage information sharing and build relationships
- 5+ Years in of Financial Services Experience
- Ability to network and engage well with peers and senior leaders
- Ability to critically analyse and solve problems
- Analysing data to understand risk management trends
- Drafting papers for governance forums
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
