Description:

The role: The Manager, Organisational Change provides strategic direction, leadership and collaboration for all business change activities associated with successful delivery of projects and programs. In addition, the role is responsible for the following:

  • Lead large enterprise-wide change management efforts.
  • Create, develop, and deliver a change management strategy for complex projects. This includes but is not limited to using the methodology to identify resistance, performance gaps, and the development and implementation of corrective actions to close those gaps.
  • Planning and execution of change management deliverables by acting as the technical change management expert on ICT project teams through all project phases. This includes but is not limited to creating a detailed methodology, knowledge transfer, organisational assessments, stakeholder analysis and engagement, communication strategy and plan, change management charter, dashboard and sustainability plan.
  • Lead and manage a specialist team to ensure strategic integration and socialisation of change management activities
  • Make recommendations on factors that may impact change adoption and sustainability of the ICT solution being implemented.

  • Proven experience in the development, documentation, implementation and evaluation of business change strategies in large scale complex public sector organisations.
  • Demonstrated practical change management experience.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective multidisciplinary team with competing priorities and timeframes.
  • High level relationship management skills and the ability to consult, communicate and negotiate with all stakeholder groups not limited to senior management, staff and unions, and proven ability in influencing decision-makers and interested parties to achieve objectives.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment developing effective working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, including the ability to research, prepare and present submissions, reports, ministerials and briefs to senior management.
  • Large-scale cloud platform development and implementation experience would be highly regarded
