Description:
Job Purpose: The Manager Organisational Psychology will lead and manage the organisational psychology function, providing expert psychological services including, but not limited to, psychometric testing, team dynamics enhancement, custom leadership development, career guidance, mediation and facilitation, ergonomics and human factors, culture analysis, and advisory services. This role aims to improve organisational effectiveness through evidence-based interventions and strategic collaboration with related functions.
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Develop and implement an Organisational Psychology strategy aligned with the Group’s business objectives.Undertake behavioural science research and use data-driven insights to provide appropriate recommendations based on future business needs.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate full assessments and development centres incorporating new technology and measurement techniques to improve value and impact.
- Operate in a consultancy style to deliver outcomes in a planned and systematic way through collaborative stakeholder relationships.Apply evidence-based methods to identify, design, deliver, and evaluate psychological assessments, including selection interviewing, psychometric testing, and assessment centres, mitigating risks in selection methods.
- Contribute thought leadership to the design, implementation, and evaluation of organisational interventions, enhancing leadership, engagement, and culture.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate coaching and mentoring interventions to enable and accelerate individual and team development.Address individual, social, and organisational factors in work environments, promoting well-being at work through effective work environment design, and contemporary ergonomics.
- Collaborate with related functions and disciplines to design and deliver holistic solutions, such as partnering with Occupational Medicine and operational teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of practitioner psychologists, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence and accountability. Ensure adherence to ethical standards of practice and contributing to sustained organisational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST MEET THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a HR related field, preferably within Organisational Psychology or equivalent.
- Master in Occupational Psychology is preferred.
- 10+ years experience in Human Resources. Demonstrating progressive experience in a people and organisational development role
- Meet practice requirements and standards of occupational psychology as British Psychological Society or similar. (See below)
- Extensive experience in applying psychological principles in organisational settings.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing organisational psychology strategies.
- Experience in psychometric testing, assessment centres, and development centres.
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
- Consultancy experience with a focus on delivering planned and systematic outcomes.
