POSITION SUMMARY:

goTRG is looking for a result driven, team and detail orientated, organized People & Culture Manager. This position will be responsible for collaborating with the HR team on varied core HR functions in the organization, from hiring to onboarding and from employee relations to evaluations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills when faced with new challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operations to develop staffing strategy for new facilities, outlining the job goals and duties surrounding each position
  • Partner with Operations to identify new training manual for new location
  • Conduct training for new HR Liaisons
  • Manage the implementation of policies according to new location state Law
  • Responsible for ensuring new locations are registered for payroll and meet all regulatory criteria
  • Ensure compliance posters are ordered and displayed in new location
  • Point of contact for locations without HR Liaisons to adjust employee grievances as well as work to build and improve culture of employee engagement
  • Assist with the recruitment of qualified applicants
  • Conduct background checks
  • Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings
  • Assist with the development of department goals and execution of goals
  • Counsel managers and supervisors on disciplinary actions, procedures, and appropriate documentation
  • Maintain, organize, and conduct regulatory HR training
  • Assist marketing with quarterly employee outreach projects quarterly
  • Communicate and coordinate any changes outside of the scheduled benefit plan; assist with ensuring a proper Open Enrollment process occurs in assigned facilities
  • Perform other duties and execute special projects as needed
