Academic certificates

  • Preferably a degree in business data analytics, statistics, mathematics, or relevant field.

Relevant work experience

  • Managing datasets and performing data analytics to drive improvement.
  • Work experience in Occupational Safety & Health would be an added advantage.

SKILLS

Technical skills include:
1. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Apps such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
2. Designing, building, and maintaining Power BI Dashboards.
Generic skills include:
1. Highly motivated and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Support Branch Manager, Plans & Analysis in

  • Managing SMRT Trains’ leading and lagging safety data to drive improvement in KPIs.
  • Collaborating, facilitating and/or supporting the implementation of SSQ programs in Trains.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Compile, track, and analyse safety data to drive improvements in SMRT Trains.
  2. Prepare timely updates to Regulator, Board and Trains Management, through reports/dashboards.
  3. Administer SMRT Trains’ open reporting channel and generate insights for improvement.
  4. Consolidate and review the work plans for Trains SSQ.
  5. Perform the role of a Risk, Audit & Compliance (RAC) Coordinator and Crisis Management (CM) coordinator for Trains SSQ.
  6. Provide support to Trains’ Divisions on Risk Incident Management System (RIMS).
  7. Undertake any other tasks/projects as required by the organisation.
