The Manager, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), will lead all aspects of P2P Portfolios and work closely with our business partners in key areas of Finance such as Costing, EDI, Vendor Services, Vendor Audit, and Vendor Income. You will report to the Director, Procure-to-Pay. This role requires a strategic problem solver with a passion for people management and a commitment to excellence in talent management activities.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend system and process modifications to increase departmental productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead all talent management activities, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a driven, energetic, and positive approach to challenges.
  • Develop and implement projects, policies, and procedures to improve Supplier management and internal processes.
  • Analyze large amounts of information and produce simple, easy-to-understand explanations and action plans
  • Lead meetings and establish relationships with Suppliers and internal business partners
  • Resolve issues with the P2P pipeline and use facts to make decisions and recommendations
  • Support with adhoc analysis, and projects.
  • Plan, monitor, and lead the implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Drive collaborative cultural change and awareness by building working relationships based on trust, and improving collaboration within portfolios

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Post-Secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Finance or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Outstanding analytical skills and ability to communicate findings clearly
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of accounting and financial processes
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines
  • A proven record of leading process improvement initiatives.
