Your tasks will further include:

• You will ensure that work within the department is carried out in a timely and high-quality manner;
• Developing the individual experience, knowledge and skills of the manufacturing and test engineers;
• Coordination of the Engineering and Technology roadmap in cooperation with the Manager Engineering;
• Clearly defining the required inputs for successful manufacturing and test engineering activities;
• Drive and successfully implement improvements;
• Reporting on the performance related to manufacturing and test engineering towards the Manager Engineering.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS MANAGER PRODUCT ENGINEERING:

As Manager Product Engineering, you and your team of approximately 20 FTE, have an essential role in bringing products into production effectively and efficiently. You will allocate and manage the capacity of your team, consisting of manufacturing and test engineers. By providing work instructions, test and machine programs and adaptions, tooling, etcetera, you and your team enable the production teams to start-up production. Issues in production are troubleshooted effectively and quickly, guaranteeing minimal production stand-still. In this role, you will report directly to the Manager Engineering.
